On behalf of the Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand, it is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 19th International Clean Air and Environment Conference. This major event will be taking place between Sunday 6th and Wednesday 9th of September 2009, at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre.
The Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand (CASANZ) is a non-government, non-profit organisation with particular interest in air quality, climate change and other related issues.
The theme of the conference is "Air Quality and Economic Development - Challenges and Solutions", a theme relevant to many developing regions. The conference will bring together local and international experts from various fields to discuss a wide range of topical air quality issues, with keynote and invited speakers including Prof Peter Newman, Dr Paul Solomon, Nick Otter, Dr Akula Venkatram and Ton Van Harreveld.
In addition to the conference, a number of workshops will be held by the CASANZ Special Interest Groups (SIGs), consisting of Odour, Modelling, Greenhouse, Risk and Indoor Air Quality. A number of the distinguished keynote and invited speakers will also make contributions to the workshops.
